They say some of the best deals happen on the slopes.
Over the weekend, French President Emmanuel Macron, British Prime Minister Keir Starmer and German Chancellor Friedrich Merz met on a train in Kyiv, Ukraine. During their trip, they discussed how peace could be brought to Europe over a big, fat pile of cocaine.
At least that’s what the conspiracy theorists think. When cameras began filming their meeting, the group quickly shooed away what, to some, appeared to be a white baggie and a little spoon. Could it be that these world leaders needed a little booger sugar to figure out the future of the globe?
DEVELOPING SCANDAL: Macron, Starmer, and Merz caught on video on their return from Kiev. A bag of white powder on the table. Macron quickly pockets it, Merz hides the spoon. No explanation given. Zelensky, known cocaine enthusiast, had just hosted them. All three of the “leaders”… pic.twitter.com/M2h5Fhzo5h

The answer is no, but God, wouldn’t it be fun if they did? As Macron’s office later noted in a tweet, the “white baggie” was just a tissue and the “little spoon” wasn’t a spoon, but a mixing stick for coffee. The group was simply clearing everything away so images of the event would be free of debris.
I know, sad day for conspiracy theorists.
When European unity becomes inconvenient, disinformation goes so far as to make a simple tissue look like drugs.
